Workshops are offered to the women in our residential programs in resume writing, computer training, personal financial management, parenting skills, job readiness training and other skills needed to become self sufficient. These workshops are offered either by Alternative House staff or collaborating agencies through a referral process.

In a similar fashion, Alternative House offers self-esteem/confidence building activities, as well as help for women interested in obtaining their GED certification and/or long-term housing arrangements.
